This release explains what happens when you add your piece to a Storyline.
Ownership
You keep ownership of your story, photo, artwork, poem, audio, video, document, place note, or other material.
Permission to use your contribution
You give Storyline and the Storyline steward or organization permission to review, store, display, publish, excerpt, and share your contribution as part of the Storyline you contributed to.
Possible uses
If approved, your contribution may appear on the public Storyline page, in embedded Storyline displays, and in related materials such as reports, presentations, newsletters, social posts, printed pieces, slideshows, story packets, or documentary-style outputs.
Editing
We may make light edits for formatting, length, clarity, spelling, accessibility, or layout. We will not intentionally change the meaning of what you shared.
Credit
You choose how your name appears where the product offers a credit choice. If you choose anonymous credit, public pages should show "Anonymous contributor."
Permission to share
Please only share material that you created or have permission to share. Do not include private information about others unless you have their permission.
Removal requests
You can ask us to remove your contribution from future online use. During the pilot, reply to the steward who invited you or email drknytlabs@gmail.com with the Storyline name and contribution details. We may not be able to remove it from materials already printed, downloaded, exported, shared, or published before your request.
Clarification
Storyline or the Storyline steward may contact you about your contribution if clarification or additional permission is needed.
